Honestly, you didn’t have to go to anybody because you’re his father too. You literally should’ve went to the Social Security office that should’ve been your first choice to do. You didn’t have to reach out to the Mom or you didn’t have to reach out to a daycare.

I've been though these situations before. My advice is to laywer up, the courts tend to hate good father's. I've learned to say on top of these situations like a hawk because the more involved you all the more these issues happen.
