Loving it! I made the players able to join the bid, being a PC, especially elf or those with long lifespan, they think they got free loots with no real consequences… until…. The elf PC bid a low 5 years,, and the auctioned said: “Sorry, you don’t have that much.” Now you got them wondering.

This is great, might use this idea to reunite my PC with their late husband and tie in a NPC's story arc since they killed their patron god while they were a oathbroken paladin. Same god that took my PC's husband. This may work phenomenally thank you
