The amount of times I’ve had to message my teachers and apologize for being ill is insane and I still get people telling me how they wished they didn’t have to go to school all the time as if I have a choice. If it was up to me I’d be at school everyday and learning but instead I’m behind and I feel so stupid because I’m not able to be there to learn

I missed so much school last year that my teachers started bringing up my failing grades bc they knew I couldn’t help it and I was trying (I was in and out of the hospital all year bc of pots, chronic migraines, PCOS and ovarian cysts.

I have a bunch of things but the amine one is diabetes. Got my phone taken for checking my blood sugar. I have a 504 saying I’m allowed to and everything and every year my teachers are sent a video from the principal about diabetes and what I’m allowed to do. They never watch it. I always get yelled at to the point where they’re scared me out of treating myself. I don’t do insulin when I need to anymore because I’m too scared. I don’t check my sugar when I’m feeling low cuz I’m too scared. They also tell me I can’t postpone a test since it messes with my brain when my sugars high or low but j don’t cuz they tell me I can’t skip tests cuz I’m lazy.

My uni doesn’t care 😭 i still have to have a 80% attendance in one of the subjects im taking… and it means I can only have four hours of not attending… I’m so scared because my endo and possible ibd is going to make it really hard
