I find it incredibly weird that people are upset with the family trying to get answers. Yes, it is a possibility that it was just simply a drowning, and a horrible accident. But if it was your child, wouldn’t you want to be certain? To ignore the fact that these alleged friends delayed in notifying anybody is a concern, to take 15 minutes to retrieve a phone when family went to recover the phone from the friends house is a concern, and the immediate need to announce that there is no signs of foul play before and official investigation is held as a concern. This is a scenario that you should feel fortunate to never have to experience because you come from a perspective of somebody who is not a minority, but people keep comparing it to the perspectives that they are used to regardless. Please imagine that this is your child, you would not just simply let it be especially since he was around people he trusted. They have every right to demand answers and the truth.
