I have been inside these tombs and seen these treasures in Vergina. It’s also noteworthy, that the tomb systems was likely designed by Alexander the Great.

Tomb II is linked to Philip II because its artifacts match his recorded battle injuries: a pair of gilded bronze greaves features a left guard noticeably shorter than the right to fit a limping warrior, and ivory portrait heads show a man with a damaged right eye, aligning perfectly with ancient texts stating Philip was blinded by an arrow and lame from a leg wound. Inscriptions inside written of course in Greek.

I really can't stand the presumptuousness of archaeology. You really go, oh, this is that dude's dad, and this is that guy, 100% for sure because we heard something about his leg being sorter. You can't just make up 90% to 95% of the story, and then yeah, yeah, that's what it was. You think that it was, you don't know that it was.

It isn’t Philips tomb. They have actually done tests on items found in the tomb. Ie the armour and such and have found that they actually date to a period around 1-200 years before Philip so couldn’t actually be him, but may be a distant relative like a great uncle or great grandfather . Look it up!

I’ve been there! I’m not a massive fan of museums and such, but dad made us all go, and my God, even I got the shivers entering the Macedonian tombs. It was by far the dopest stuff I had seen in a very long time. Greek history is so cool.

If we open a tomb of someone who died in 1994 that's bad. but over 2000 years is ok. when exactly it becomes acceptable? 100 years? 200? I really need to know this ASAP. I also need a lawyer.
