the most entertaining part of all the naysayers is that they respond to Trump's words and not the actual actions that are happening. they've been preparing for this action for over a decade since Trump 1 and even before that. long term most of those bases will be abandoned because Iran is the last significant threat and regional partners, including European forces, can maintain stability. Peace is not an objective yet, it's a game of push-pull to keep Iran wasting resources and slowly choke them, while exerting control on oil markets that significantly affect Asia and particularly China. You can't have a narrow view and understand what's happening. this is a global move with a very wide geopolitical context

no not really 1st most attacks are from the bases in the region, not from the navi . 2nd iran main objectives are -control hormuz -end the American military presence in the region they said it is over and over , they want these bases closed once and for all .usa has been building upgrading and fortifying these bases since 1990 , iran is destroying them in less than a year, saying they are collateral damage is really far from the truth

We could destroy the country but we don’t want to why is that so hard for people to understand. That is a recipe for destabilization. And do the naysayers not understand that there is like 4D chess going on, it’s economic, regional and internal pressure all being used in addition to military. This doesn’t happen over night. If we bombed the shit out of them we would be called war criminals.

It’s not about winning. It’s about winning enough to maintain control. They have realized that they can hold the entire world hostage by limiting resources. The world needs to survive. So if the US doesn’t win right away. People will turn on the US around the world. The British empire didn’t lose wars. They could’ve kept their 13 colonies if they wanted to. But the cost was significant enough for them to reconsider. And that’s what it boils down to.
