my cousin is looking to make a logo using his construction truck but the truck is so big and he wants it realistic I'm trying to figure out how to get the parts of the truck to look right because there's a lot of chrome it's really hard to get only a couple colors any advice

They usually ignore the "social" folder. Now, I export all the logos including safe space. Never had that problem again. Part of our job is to make it easy for the client.

May I add a few? DO NOT distort it, DO NOT make it massive against other text, DO NOT make it semi-transparent, DO NOT frame it, and if I tell you to always put it top-right on the page / slide, DO NOT put it anywhere else. Finally, DO NOT use unapproved fonts or colours anywhere near it! There, I feel better now 😂

Just so we’re clear, Hank didn’t actually crop the logo incorrectly. It was just an example… although he did use the wrong logo for a favicon 😂

What about when they take a screenshot of your proof and use that for their Facebook profile icon. Then they pay late, and never update their Facebook profile icon, even though they have all the options! That was a new low for me as a graphic designer 😞
