I agreeee!!! I’m currently in EMDR therapy. I don’t even know my real identity without trauma attach to me. It’s not for the weak. Been plenty of time I wanted to give up. I’m 3 years in. Thank God.

You don’t need to pay anyone.. just literally ask your body why you have this trauma. Then go back to that negative experience and give yourself a hug/console yourself and boom you’re fixed in the present. Our bodies are amazing!

Poverty is most people's trauma. Every problem that created some type of trauma more likely stemmed from being poor and dealing with that

This is the best thing I ever did for myself. It changed my life and helped to develop my perspective of self. The most soothing and kindest thing for you to manage pain and trauma. Powerful

Emdr changed my entire life. It changed my DNA and how I cope with trauma post emdr. Its tough while you are in it but in a healing way. You gotta prioritize A LOT of rest A LOT of sleep after a session. A LOT of water after... but it basically gets to the root traumas even if you aren't focusing on them. It rewires how your brain perceived the trauma how you cope and the best way I can describe it, it feels like through that rewiring its helping get that deep rooted poison out little by little so that your nervous system can rewire back to a healed version of yourself. Be prepared for things to come up from deep early childhood that you weren't even aware of. When it starts to rewire itself its almost like it figures out how to get into the nooks and crannies of the dark and rewires that too. Weather you want it to or not...Its wild. And i think it should be mandatory practice for trauma therapy. Imo.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is very similar to EMDR but you do not have to talk through all of your trauma all over again and it only takes 1-5 sessions whereas EMDR can take 8-15 sessions. Both are amazing! ART also targets fears/phobias, ptsd, OCD, Depression, anxiety, body dysmorphia, and more!

EMDR is everything! It’s one of the most powerful tools to recover from PTSD and CPTSD. I am so grateful to my practitioners.

Yes! As a prior therapist, I started looking into this form of therapy and became interested in being able to provide it. I decided to stop therapy but if I ever go back , I am definitely getting certified in this!

THE ONLY THING THAT HELPED ME-Especially m, the post EMDR dreams. You’ll dream clearly-Especially if anyone was touching you at night time(and you draw blanks trying to remember who) If you have CPTSD and have survived narcissistic abuse, and other traumatic events-Please try it!!!

yes I believe this treatment will work well with a lot of people who are suffering from issues they do not want to face. it brings to light a whole bunch of things that suppress. I had a friend who didn't deal with any of his traumas growing up and he couldn't even speak on what happened to him. it took this treatment for him to really open up in get everything out
