If the enemy is using the equivalent of aim9x, in dogfighting, then dogfighting no longer matters. Whoever has the range advantage on a good missile is the winner or maybe a draw if they both hit each other.

Definitely my favorite fighter! I wanted to do that when I was younger but my eyesight got bad and I couldn’t pass the vision test. Even today I have a massive love for fighter pilots and their machines. This Fighter here tho is in a league of its own. Eleanor would have been her name.
