@virtualmanc: Microsoft just solved the biggest problem with AI agents — and hardly anyone's talking about it. No APIs needed. The agent gets its own Cloud PC and uses your apps exactly like a person would — even that 20-year-old system nobody's allowed to touch. Managed by Intune, every action logged, data never leaves your environment. Full setup walkthrough on my YouTube - https://youtu.be/1fFV5G8I_qo #Windows365 #CopilotStudio #AgenticAI #MicrosoftTech #ITPro
The AI should be used to rewrite this old ass system rather than create a button clicking robot

Highly inefficient - analysing screenshots all the time is taking loads of tokens.

This will make the ai agent very expensive, it cheaper to upgrade legacy tooling

Microsoft advert. This has existed for long now. Works somewhat but not even efficient.

Any one who gives AI access to personal data of their employees is absolutely insane. Thankfully it’s only a matter of time till stuff like that becomes illegal in the EU. None of these companies are compliant with EU data privacy laws.

secured API's can offer zero trust. having an agent to click 'like a human' is close to RPA , but not as efficient & secure as API's

it's computer vision based rpa but instead of a normal computer vision model they use a llm. you can do the same thing within claude for chrome or playwright cli but significantly faster and eventually cheaper. also running it on high risk production applications sounds like insanity to me, no agents are touching the hr/accounting system supervised or unsupervised

Cost?
AI works in Linux as most things can be done on the terminal level which is perfect for ai.

it's just RPA with an agent ? hardly new ? I think automation Anywhere or blue prism have been able to this for a while
