No remake needed but here’s an idea: Remaster the film and soundtrack and go back & make the shark look as realistic as possible with modern tech & effects. I’d pay to watch that ten times over.

I watch 1975 Jaws every 4th of July. Was 19 when it came out and skeptical of the hype for a shark movie....and I waited one month before seeing it to get smaller lines but alas, it was out the door, around the building and thru the parking lot. Fireweed Theater, Anchorage, Alaska. Wow! Saw it 3 more times that year. Now I am 70 and STILL watch it EVERY 4th of July!!!!
