you can't film kids. teens or whatever. completely illegal. i work at Walmart, and we had an employee who thought he was trying to be a hero by stopping a shoplifter.. he was going to take a picture of the guts car and license plate, but Asset Protection told him NO. He did it anyway- and the driver's little boy was in the backseat. Because our employee took that picture with the kid in the back, he was fired IMMEDIATELY because that driver could absolutely sue us. I see actual streamers all the time ask PERMISSION first before bringing a camera into a place. If they're told no, then they comply and no harm done.

if it's a public lobby even if they have their own rules for the building those rules don't trump laws. since she forced you to not make money in that situation you could have a lawsuit. I'd go get paid for the lawsuit if I was you.

Almost all restaurants are privately owned businesses rather than public property, even when they are open to the general public. Because they are private property, owners have the legal right to set their own rules and can ask you to stop filming or require you to leave entirely.
