The problem with these conversations is that they often end up focusing on the worst examples of men and then people walk away acting as though that's representative of men as a whole. The vast majority of men aren't part of some toxic manosphere they work hard, raise families, build our infrastructure, keep the lights on, serve in the military, work on oil rigs, drive ambulances, fight fires, and risk their lives to protect complete strangers. Men deserve encouragement and appreciation too. We can challenge genuinely harmful behaviour without turning masculinity itself into something to be ashamed of. A healthy society needs good men just as much as it needs good women.
