so i refuse to watch this cuz it's stupid so I read the synopsis and I'll save yall the time. A long time ago the officer Eddie was SA'D while the racket guy stood by and did nothing which is why she has such a hard on for him now. she arrests him but obviously the charges don't stick and it is handled out of a courtroom. later they go to a bar where someone is being SA'd and the racket guy intervenes saves the day and resolved his issues with Eddie after she punches him in the ribs (girl power, blue lives matter yadda yadda)

I looked it up and this is a real law… At least in New York. A cop asked you for helping you say no you can’t be arrested. They appealed it in California though so I’m not helping no cops.
