Just did a quick bit of digging - the new Chair of Ofcom as of June 2026 is Sir Ian Cheshire. There are multiple articles about how they are wanting to “look more into” concerns around GB news, and I even found an article where he said he is planning to meet with Alan Rusbridger - who has vocally criticised GB news and their reach. Perhaps there’s something we can pursue here about the new head of Ofcom apparently being a hypocrite? Could we pressure to see if this discussion as actually taken place? Could Alan Rusbridger be someone to reach out to?

Just to be clear, I’m very anti-GB news but do you not think that it’s a possibility that all your efforts are failing because they’re not actually a news channel? It’s my understanding that they’ve got an entertainment licence so it’s very possible that that is the reason why they’re getting away with it all.

Ofcom is a public authority. You can make a Freedom of Information request about this. I’m not super clued up on FOIs but if the investigation is closed, they should provide some things under an FOI.
