I think people are confused and it is very concerning… consent is continuous It must be given every step of the way, not just once at the start and it is something that is reversible, anyone can change their mind and say "stop" at any moment. A past “yes” is not a permanent “yes” prior agreement never gives someone a free pass to ignore current comfort levels. Respect is immediate, the moment a boundary changes, the activity must stop.
