my 11 year old boy told me they make them practice a lockdown procedure - hide under the tables if they hear poppin sounds but called it poppin like popcorn. none of us parents were notified about it😡

I don’t see the issue with this? This would protect children in an open room where they are trained during a lockdown to hide under a table where they can still be seen if someone were to look through a window. So this would help them stay hidden. Granted I don’t feel it would help much if someone had a gun and wanted to get in they would in most schools. What’s not normal is the fact some people will target a school for whatever reason. This is just another safety measure. There’s nothing wrong with them doing this.

If your going to put this on the windows why not put up one way film so the children can still see out but no one can see in.

conditioning in my opinion, their eyesight will deteriorate in the dark and then in front of screens too, it knocks the other senses to work harder and will also cause clumsiness
