There is a lot to debate about this. Ptolemy wanted to maintain the purity of the bloodline, which is why they reproduced among brothers and sisters, at least according to official history. However, modern biology confirms that this would have been impossible without causing severe genetic abnormalities in the children. Knowing also that every pharaoh had a large number of concubines, it is highly likely that these were the actual mothers (so much so that Cleopatra's father, Ptolemy XII, was the son of a concubine, which is a historical certainty). The nationalities of these concubines? Impossible to verify. And given that there were 9 full generations from Ptolemy to Cleopatra, I don't think it's legitimate to define her as Greek
