Watching Indian politics sometimes feels like watching the same old movie being repeated generation after generation. The script remains familiar: when people raise their voices through protests, the response often becomes force — arrests, tear gas, and sometimes violence instead of genuine dialogue. Many ordinary citizens feel that their struggles and demands are ignored while those in power focus more on protecting their own interests. While people face hardships and fight for their rights, politicians often live behind walls of comfort — in air-conditioned offices, luxury homes, and private spaces far away from the daily struggles of common people. A democracy is not only about elections; it is about listening to the voices of the people, respecting their rights, and being accountable to those who give leaders the power to govern. A country can only move forward when leaders remember that power belongs to the people, not to politicians alone.
