It marks the transition of youth into adulthood through a period of seclusion in the mountains, where they learn essential cultural values, survival skills, and community responsibilities. African culture is very interesting and always becomes a form of unity amongst family and relatives. There’s so much to learn. Being home with my entire family just brings out the joy from my soul. The boys came back home by God’s grace and protection. May all the lessons they have learnt shape them to becoming men of honour and humility. May God shield them and protect them from forces that may try to consume them.
