@lekgotlalabelaphi: These are the kinds of conversations that we have as the healers that are under the umbrella body called LEKGOTLA LABELAPHI BENDABUKO. We want the sector to define itself. Who are we? Where do we fit as Indigenous Healers? And if there is no place where we fit neatly at the moment, the Government must allow us to build our own home. A home that has Act that is written by us. With Regulations that are drafted from an Act that we have contributed to. A Department that is run by us, in the way we understand and know. For some, this may seem far fetched but for us. This is a fight that we are willing to take head on. This is what we know our Ancestors want for us - their children. They want to see us do things with isintu always front and centre. A sector that will be rebuilt by us, for us. That is what the Lekgotla Labelaphi Bendabuko stands for. Organisations are welcome to be apart of. Independent Traditional Healers are welcome to be apart of. We do not intend to replace any organisations, but we infact are working with Organisations. We are here to UNITE the sector and speak with ONE VOICE. ✊🏾📿 #lekgotlalabelaphibendabuko #healersoftiktok #sangoma #fyp #viral

Thokozani, camagwini. Sensitive and relevant topic indeed. I'm just concerned when it comes to the sacredness of the practice of being healers as a whole. Government has a way of when involved that all is in public and losses ground or respect. Just thinking outloud

Conversations we should be having as healers. Not podcasts.

Greetings, I just came across this video. The Dept of Water & Sanitation is reviewing the national water act. The process is before portfolio committee in Parliament. Perhaps an opportunity to advocate for inclusion of a traditional healers as part of water users. You can also engage with the Dept through catchment forums.

Healers are not politicians healers trust those who use them to fight what is sinking their ship they aren't to up and down like they had no power to do things spiritually but those who do that are those who have never experience or know the power of what they claim to be
