I had 2 exes, both are 2 years long relationships. 1 was toxic, physically abusive, tried to isolate me and made me start SH, the second one 🍇me multiple times and were absent a lot. Now, my boyfriend always treats me right, I'm more than my body, and he's always doing his best to reassure me even when he's not at fault

I always see relationship is a trade off or a contracted stun to just make a living. My mom made the first example of it then many of my friends has toxic relationships that I don't see anything good about romantic love. I had my ex severed bc it didnt turned out well too much that was minimum compared to what I have been constantly shown. Until someone came in, we talked like acquaintances bc we like the same thing, slowly we called more. I did opened up myself a little bit I still had my guard up, but they allowed themself to me, a stranger, giving me this much trust. So I listened to them, helped them bc I knew how it felt and bc its a right thing to do. Then we took off from there, we accepted each others flaws and interests, and we talk through anything that comes to mind and giving each other a good respond, even most of them ate silly things. My partner has retaught me compassion I never knew I get it back. And I am grateful for that and I hope I did something nice for them too along the way. We both are in a better place while helping each other and still love each other.

After being in an abusive relationship with a girl I was with in hs I kind of lost a lot of hope for finding true love and stopped believing I didn't deserve much of anything lol. Years would go by and I would destroy my life throughout those years and just when I thought one week I'd just end it there a saw what I believed to be God showing me my savior. She's the most beautiful girl ever. The ironic part is I never was super religious (until as of recently) but back then it took me off guard cause I prayed for something or someone to help. Lord delivered and she is the most angelic person ever. On top of that irony she has an Angel tattoo. So anyone out there losing hope don't cause I didn't and I was a washed up man who had nothing going for him and I would've given up before I became the luckiest man ever alive 💙

I thought I was to traumatised and disgusting to love…then randomly one day my grandma took me and my little sister to a card game shop. We’d never been before, and then after my little sister did laps around tables after getting a good card, a guy sat with us. I barely spoke but he seemed so kind. We left and I thought that was that, then we saw him at the shop again and again. He got me to open up, he even made me laugh, I fell for him but thought I’d never have a chance until one day, I was bordering on a mental breakdown and then I feel him grab my hand under the table. 5 years together in October and he’s the kindest, sweetest and loving man I’ve ever met.
