I blame the writers for *that* specific part because it did not suit his character at all to do such a thing. I literally don’t even know what the point was other than to give Sila a concrete reason to leave. Because if that thing didn’t happen, she’d have stayed because she was falling in love with him. But in order to move the story forward, they needed to create a conflict that would push her away from him for a time. They didn’t have to write that in but they did. Huge mistake
