Even if you fired them, why come onto social media and share details about their private life? That is not professional, and I don’t agree with it. You may be telling your side of the story, but many of us have also heard the other side. By making this public, it gives the impression that mistakes were made on both sides. If you decided to terminate their employment, that should have been the end of it. There was no need to publicly tarnish their reputation. Regardless of what they may have done, it does not justify speaking negatively about their private life in a public forum. That kind of behavior reflects poorly on your organization.
