Postpartum mothers deserve understanding, and officers should be educated about postpartum recovery and the challenges that can come with it. I understand the baby was in the car, but she did pull over, and her father had the hazard lights on, showing they were aware of the situation and taking steps to keep everyone safe. Situations like this deserve compassion as well as careful judgment.
