Where did you get that Muhammed saw her half naked? Where is this story coming from? This is false flagging, telling a lie while using truth so people believe you. It was to protect divorced woman from being abandoned even if it was a woman from his adoptive son to show example to other man, not to sexualize woman but to protect them. Mind you in that time woman had no rights, Allah gave them. She wouldn’t have married him if she didn’t want to because woman has to give consent in Islam. Quran tells that if a woman doesn’t want to get married to someone no one, even Muhammed himself can force her, it’s a word of Allah.

According to Arab custom, a divorced woman was considered undesirable; she would typically be cared for by her closest kin following her waiting period (*‘idda*), and the person closest to her was Muhammad.

I am going to address the things you just said: So, first of all, the discussed wife of the adopted son of the prophet (pbuh) was actually the prophet‘s (pbuh) cousin. They knew each other their entire lives (she was born 20 years before the prophet (pbuh) got his first revelation) which means he knew her way before hijab was even a thing. You saying „Muhammed sees her almost naked, gets attracted to her“ makes absolutely zero sense, because first of all what kind of situation is this? Where is the source? There was never a situation where the prophet (pbuh) opened a bathroom door or something and accidentally saw someone naked. And, as previously outlined above, they were cousins and knew each other for very long and he already knew what she looked like without hijab or so. It is also very important to mention that the prophet (pbuh) HIMSELF was the one arranging the marriage between his cousin and his adopted son. He wanted them to be married. His cousin was a highly respected woman of high rank, while his adopted son was a previous slave of low rank, so the marriage was supposed to state, that ranks don’t matter when it comes to marriage. But the marriage didn’t go well, it only lasted a little longer than a year. The adopted son wanted a divorce from his wife due to irreconcilable differences, which the prophet (pbuh) first REJECTED. You claiming that the prophet (pbuh) „gets attracted to her, concludes that she’s for him“ and that his adopted son „divorces her specifically so that Muhammed could have her“ is just untrue. The adopted son and the prophet‘s (pbuh) cousin were not happy, specifically the cousin behaved haughtily towards her then-husband due to his low rank and didn’t want to marry him from the very beginning. The divorce had nothing to do with „so that Muhammed could have her“. Some sources even say that she - before her marriage to the prophet‘s (pbuh) adopted son - wanted to marry the prophet (pbuh), who rejected her at that time. And the prophet (pbuh) knew her and could have married her his entire life, but he chose to arrange a marriage between her and his adopted son, which simply didn’t last. [1]
