this is correct I've been married 35 years and it's never ever 50/50 someone has to usually do more and you learn hopefully how to become the one who does more when your spouse can't but there's got to be a balance if one person is always the needy one your spouse or partner will resent you bitterness turns your love into anger people ask us all the time how we've stayed with each other and it's about keeping the spark a roaring fire 🔥 and recognizing the needs of your person even if they get on your last nerve it's a compromise and you both have to want it the power does shift let yourself be vulnerable sometimes you might be surprised that your spouse likes to be needed I can't articulate what exactly I'm trying to say but your right on this 💯 I'm more in love with my husband than the day we started our journey together and I'm proud of the beautiful life we've built together 🥰

I despise any sort of power dynamics in relationships why do they even exist?? it's literally narcissism!!! I yearn for relationships with dissolved dynamics where everyone is equal we're humans and that's what's makes us equal no ones superior and other inferior i challenge these dynamics all the time and it works never be a submitter or a follower it's you and you that you need and that's enough
