Bakit? Ano ba ang naitulong ni Rene sa Pilipinas? Diba pagiging MVP sa Basketball? Eh si Jose Rizal, siya an nagsulat nang mga makasaysayang nobela, tumayo para sa mga mamamayang pilipino, nag tanggol saatin, at higit sa lahat, isinakripisyo niya ang kanyang sarili para sa bansang pilipinas. Bakit? Anong magagawa ng pagka panalo ni Rene sa basketball kung tayo ay sinasakop na ng mga espanyol? Diba wala? At tanging ang pag babasketball lang ang siyang maitutulong niya. Oo malaki iyon. NGUNIT KUNG HINDI SINAKRIPISYO NI RIZAL ANG KANYANG BUHAY PARA SA ATING KALAYAAN, AY HINDI AABOT SA PUNTO NA SI RENE ANG MAGIGING MVP SA BASKETBALL. WALA TAYONG KARAPATAN SA MUNDONG ITO, KUNG HINDI TAYO IPINAGLABAN NI RIZAL. Hindi pwedeng palitan iyan. Papalitan niyo ang rebulto ni Rizal para sa isang lalake na nanalo at MVP sa Palarong Pambansa? PAPALITAN NIYO ANG TAONG TAGAPAG LIGTAS NG ATING BANSA? ISIPIN NIYO, WALA ANG BANSANG PILIPINAS KUNG WALA SI JOSE RIZAL, WALA ANG PALARONG PAMBANSA KUNG WALA SI RIZAL. Sinasabi pa nga ni Rizal na “ANG KABATAAN ANG PAG ASA NG BAYAN” ngunit pinapatunayan ng iba na ito ay mali. KABATAAN, DAPAT TAYO AY NAG IISIP NG MAIGI, TAYO ANG PAG ASA NG BAYAN, AT HINDI IYAN MAGBABAGO.

Even though Rene sacrificed himself for others and can be considered a hero, there are many heroes who have been honored without replacing Dr. José Rizal or his statue. Rizal is more than just a hero—he became a symbol of our nation's fight for freedom. During the Spanish colonial period, many Filipinos were unaware of the injustices they were suffering and had little freedom. Through his writings and sacrifices, Rizal opened the minds and eyes of the Filipino people to the oppression they faced. He inspired them to seek justice and fight for the country's freedom. Would it be right to replace the statue of Rizal, which serves as a reminder of his courage and his love for the Filipino people? If it were not for his efforts, our history might have been very different. Although Rene was also a hero, his sacrifice cannot be compared to Rizal's because they served different purposes. Rizal gave his life for the nation and inspired millions of Filipinos to stand up against colonial rule, while Rene gave his life to save his friend. Both are heroes, but their contributions are not the same, and Rizal's place in Philippine history should continue to be honored.

Hindi naman porket idol nyo at sumikat 'yan ay papalitan nyo si Rizal, yess sinakripisyo nya din 'yung buhay nya pero hindi para sa bayan. malaki ang pinag kaiba nila, parehas silang bayani pero hindi naman pwedeng palitan si Rizal, si Rizal parin ang bayani nating mga pilipino, si Rene bayani ng mga ibang pilipino, si Rizal bayani nating LAHAT, bayani ng buong pilipinas, Hindi kami agree diyan.
