@milkin_mamas: When we moved our boutique downtown we were thinking more foot traffic would make us more money, boy were we wrong. Our original plan was to hire someone to be in the store so we could keep being productive at the farm. When we could barely make rent we knew that wasn’t gonna happen. Thank GOD for our online sales and our online presence. It paid the bills while we had our brick and mortar for one year. Moral of the story- work smarter not harder. Build your online presence, work from the farm, (or anywhere in the world), and don’t rely on foot traffic or an event where people come to you. Magnetize them to your brand!
