@mrsschuet: Three days later, Schuett Global Holdings hummed with its usual busy rhythm—employees hurried through the lobby, comparing deadlines and discussing quarterly projections. Everything appeared perfectly normal. Until— “GOOD MORNING, FUTURE WIFE!” The shout echoed all the way from the elevators to the far end of the executive floor. The whole office froze for a beat—then someone from Accounting cheered loud enough to be heard two rooms over. “She’s back!” “Finally! This place felt way too quiet!” “I missed the daily drama!” Bam looked up from her laptop and grinned. “Looks like she made a full recovery.” “More like overrecovery,” Tan chuckled. “She’s louder than before.” The elevator doors slid open. Miu stepped out in a sharp navy suit—her tie, as always, slightly askew. Her color was bright again, her posture straight, and the moment she spotted Lena heading toward her office, her smile stretched wide enough to crinkle the corners of her eyes. “There you are!” She broke into a light jog to catch up. “Future wife!” Lena didn’t slow her pace. “You’re far too loud.” “I know!” “You’ll wake every floor in the building.” “I wanted to make sure you heard me survived!” Lena’s mouth twitched. “I noticed.” Miu planted herself right in front of her, arms flung wide in a dramatic pose. “Three whole days gone. Did you miss me?” Lena stepped neatly around her. “No.” “Ouch! But—you texted me.” “About necessary precautions.” “About me.” “About your medication.” “Exactly! You were worried.” “I was being responsible leadership.” “Responsible leadership worries about every single employee?” Miu pressed a hand over her heart. “Wow. I’m honored just to count as an employee now.” Lena finally stopped and turned to face her properly. “You are completely impossible.” “And yet…” Miu leaned in just a little, voice soft and teasing, “you still replied.” A faint flush rose on Lena’s ears—barely there, easy to miss… unless you’d spent seven years watching for every tiny shift. Bam saw it. Tan saw it. Half the staff nearby definitely noticed. And Miu? Her grin brightened tenfold. “Oh! There it is.” “What?” “You almost smiled. And you definitely blushed.” “I absolutely did not.” “Denial proves everything!” Bam leaned over to Tan, whispering, “Five minutes. That’s the fastest we’ve ever gotten a reaction. New record.” Inside Lena’s office, Miu strolled right in without knocking—just like always—and set a neatly wrapped paper bag on the desk. “Breakfast.” “I already ate,” Lena said automatically. “Liar.” Lena looked up sharply. “Excuse me?” “You only walked past the pantry and grabbed coffee. I checked.” “…How?” “I asked the kitchen staff nicely.” “You interrogated them.” “I gathered intelligence!” “They betrayed me.” “They like me better.” “They’re terrified of you.” “Fair. They’re also terrified of you.” Lena huffed but untied the string anyway. Inside sat a still-warm almond croissant—and beside it, that ridiculously pink strawberry milk she’d pretended to hate for years. She stared down at them, then up at Miu. “You were sick just three days ago. Shouldn’t you still be resting at home?” “I rested! Honestly!” Miu held up both hands. “Doctor signed off on light work today. Promise.” Lena studied her for a long moment. “Did you finish the full course of medicine? All of it?” Miu blinked. Then her whole face lit up again. “…Why are you smiling?” “I am not smiling.” “You totally are! You’re checking up on me!” Lena immediately looked back at her papers, though her tone stayed soft. “Don’t jump to conclusions. If you collapse at your desk, HR will start asking awkward questions—and I’d rather not deal with the paperwork.” “Sure,” Miu beamed. “Keep telling yourself that.” continuation ➡️ Comment Section ⤵️ #miunatsha #lenamiu #lenalalina #gxg

.
She watched how Lena’s posture softened. How Kit’s eyes lit up whenever she spoke.
.
How they shared small smiles that needed no explanation at all.
.
A heavy, cold knot settled in Miu’s chest. This wasn’t just another business contact.
.
This wasn’t someone she could out-tease or out-perform.
.
Kit belonged to a chapter of Lena’s life that had closed long before Miu ever walked into it—a chapter she could never rewrite, never be part of.
.
Inside the boardroom, Kit presented his firm’s vision with sharp intelligence and effortless grace, answering every question from the executives with patience and clarity.
.
Even Miu had to admit—reluctantly—that he was impressive: capable, respectful, and clearly thoughtful about how to protect Schuett’s legacy.
.
When the meeting wrapped up, Kit stood and shook hands around the table.
.
“We’re all very much looking forward to this partnership.” His gaze lingered on Lena. “And I’m especially looking forward to working closely with you again.”
.
Lena nodded warmly. “The feeling is entirely mutual.”
.
Miu’s fingers tightened around her pen until the plastic creaked.
.
Most of the team filed out, leaving Lena and Kit alone near the window.
.
As Miu walked back toward the door to call them for lunch, she slowed—voices carried clearly through the half-open gap.
.
“One thing I’ve been wondering about,” Kit said lightly. “Do you still sneak strawberry milk into your bag and pretend you hate it?”
.
Lena laughed. “Sometimes. Only when no one’s looking.”
.
“I knew it,” Kit said, sounding delighted. “I used to buy one for you every single morning before school. You’d say it wasn’t your favorite… but you’d never turn it down.”
.
“I still say that,” Lena said softly.

Miu stepped back slowly, her heart sinking. He knows. He knows the same secret she’d spent seven years teasing Lena about. He knew it first.
.
For the first time since she’d started chasing Lena all those years ago, Miu understood: she wasn’t just competing for Lena’s attention now.
.
She was competing with the person Lena had carried in her heart since before they’d even met.
.
And that scared her more than any rejection ever could.

“Kit Holland? CEO of Holland International?”
.
“I heard his firm is putting billions into our expansion!”
.
The elevator doors opened on the executive floor.
.
A tall, striking man in his early thirties stepped out, wearing a perfectly tailored charcoal suit.
.
He carried himself with easy, unhurried confidence—Kit Holland, head of one of Europe’s most powerful investment groups, and Schuett Global’s newest strategic partner.
.
The moment Lena’s eyes landed on him, she froze mid-step.
.
Her carefully composed expression faltered completely.
.
“…Kit?”
.
He smiled, warm and familiar, like they’d seen each other only yesterday. “Hello, Lena. It’s been a very long time.”
.
The entire lobby fell silent. Miu, who had just lifted her coffee cup to her lips, slowly lowered it without taking a sip.
.
He knows Lena?
.
Kit walked straight toward her, ignoring everyone else for a moment. “I can’t believe you’re actually standing right here.”
.
Lena laughed—a soft, bright, genuine sound so few people at the company had ever heard. “Thirteen years. Has it really been that long?”
.
“Every single one,” Kit said gently. “And I remember everything.”
.
Miu nearly choked. “Everything?”
.
Bam leaned over to Tan, voice low: “Oh no. This isn’t good.”
.
“I heard you settled in London after your family moved,” Lena said.
.
“I did,” Kit nodded. “But I always said I’d come back—only once I was in a position to work alongside you, not just visit.”
.
Lena’s smile widened. “So this investment… it’s not just business.”
.
“It never was,” he said simply.
.
They fell into conversation as if no time at all had passed—laughing over old stories, referencing places and names no one else in the room recognized. Staff watched in stunned silence.
.
“President is actually laughing freely…”
.
“I’ve never seen her this relaxed around anyone.”
.
“Who is he?”
.
Kate leaned over to Bam. “They seem very close.”
.
“They grew up together,” Bam said quietly.
.
“Neighbors, childhood playmates—practically inseparable until his family moved overseas when they were teenagers.”
.
Miu said nothing. She stayed where she was, arms folded, just watching.

.
A gentle knock interrupted them. “Come in,” Lena called.
.
Kate stepped through holding a stack of folders.
.
“President, here are the revised project proposals you requested.”
.
She glanced over and brightened. “Welcome back, Director Miu. It’s good to see you well again.”
.
“Thanks, Kate.” Surprisingly, there was no edge, no stiff hesitation—just a warm, genuine smile.
.
“Heard you’ve been pulling extra shifts and helping Lena stay organized. Great work.”
.
“Still learning the ropes myself,” Kate said modestly.
.
“Keep it up.” Miu nodded toward Lena. “And remember our deal: keep this workaholic fed, don’t let her skip lunch, and stop her from drinking more than three coffees a day. She’ll try to lie about it.”
.
Kate’s eyes widened playfully. “More than three? I thought two seemed like a lot!”
.
“Sometimes five,” Miu said solemnly. “Before nine in the morning.”
.
“Miu,” Lena warned, but without any real heat. “Stop exposing my bad habits.”
.
“I’m protecting your health—and my future wife’s well-being,” Miu said easily.
.
Kate laughed quietly as she turned to leave. “I’ll hold you to that, Director.”
.
For the first time since they met, the three of them stood together without tension, without awkward gaps—just easy familiarity.
.
As the door clicked shut, Miu’s smile faded a little into something quieter. “I owe her an apology, you know.”
.
Lena tilted her head. “For what?”
.
“For being so weird and standoffish when she first arrived. For acting like she was some kind of threat.” Miu rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly.
.
“I was jealous. Plain and simple.”
.
Lena blinked—genuinely surprised.
.
She’d spent seven years listening to Miu dodge and joke and twist every feeling into banter; she’d never once heard her say that word out loud so openly.
.
“You just… admitted it?”
.
“Trying something new,” Miu said simply. “Honesty. Seems like it’s about time.”
.
Lena stared at her—really stared—for a long, quiet moment. Then, slowly, a small, soft smile curved her lips. “I’m proud of you.”
.
Miu froze completely. Her eyes went wide. “…Say that again? Please?”
.
“No.”

“I’ll set a voice recorder next time I come in.”
.
“There won’t be a next time.”
.
“Watch me.”
.
Lena rolled her eyes—warm, familiar, fond. “There’s the annoying Miu I know.”
.
“Missed being annoying,” Miu grinned. “Missed you.”
.
Lena picked up a thick folder and tapped it lightly against Miu’s shoulder. “Go find an actual hobby.”
.
“Already have one.”
.
“Which is?”
.
“Annoying you.”
.
Lena closed her eyes and sighed, but her voice was smiling. “I really should have seen that coming.”
.
Down the hall, Bam paused as soft laughter drifted through the office door. She smiled at herself. “They’re back.”
.
Tan nodded beside her. “Yeah. But…” Bam glanced toward the glass wall thoughtfully. “Something’s di.fferent this time.”
Three days apart had shifted everything.
.
Miu had realized love wasn’t just about chasing someone or making them laugh—it was about trusting they’d stay, even when you weren’t making noise.
.
And Lena… Lena had finally accepted what had been right beside her all along: her days didn’t feel whole without Miu’s ridiculous interruptions, her terrible jokes, and that steady, stubborn presence that never wavered.
.
After seven long years, the stalemate had finally begun to crack.
.

.
Two weeks later, Schuett Global Holdings was buzzing with preparations for the most high-stakes investment meeting of the year.
.
The main boardroom had been fully rearranged; the executive floor had been deep-cleaned twice; even the reception desk had fresh floral arrangements.
.
Everyone was on their best behavior—including Miu. Mostly.
.
“Future wife?” she leaned in quietly as Lena reviewed her notes.
.
“Meeting starts in ten minutes,” Lena murmured without looking up.
.
“Understood. I’ll save the flirting for after.”
.
Lena glanced up, one eyebrow raised. “You will do no such thing.”
.
Miu grinned. “No promises.”
.
Bam sighed from the next seat. “I give up trying to moderate them.”
.
At exactly 10:00 a.m., a sleek black luxury sedan pulled up outside the main entrance.
.
Lena, Miu, and the senior team waited in the lobby as the car doors opened.
.
The receptionist whispered excitedly: “That’s him—the new lead investor!”

Haha, guys, I seriously don't have a bias toward any character. 😂 I just enjoy well-written scenes, whether they're sweet, heartbreaking, frustrating, or full of drama. That's what makes a story memorable.
If everything was sunshine and happy moments all the time, where's the fun in that? 😖 Every conflict has a purpose, and every character has their own journey.
So trust the author, okay? ❤️We're not even close to the most exciting part yet. There are still plenty of twists, emotional rollercoasters, unexpected revelations, and moments that will make you laugh, cry, scream, and fall in love with the story even more.
For now... just enjoy the ride, be patient, and let the author cook. 😉🍿
