no matter what anime or Manga I am watching or reading there's always that one scene where someone who's from another world or has returned to their original world after like a thousand years or so and they get all emotional eating their original countries food it's hilarious but at the same time realistic in its own way could you imagine you go to a fantasy world and they don't have the types of food that you normally eat and you would have to either find that ingredient in the wild or purchase it at an expensive price because of nobleman's greed and such and then you have to like figure out the ratio of the spices and ingredients and all that stuff to get that specific flavor especially if those herbs and spices and whatnot even exist in that world
