I have borderline personality disorder, which, unlike bipolar, kinda means on the borderline of psychosis. Schizophrenia runs in my maternal family line. I get auditory and olfactory hallucinations a lot, but ive never had a full visual and its something im grateful for because girl I would never poop again wth im so sorry I hope you have a loyal ass cat or dog honestly to help you out

People who say stuff like that don’t understand schizophrenia.. (i don’t have it, but i studied it for a bit) them feeding into the idea that their hallucinations are actually real just feeds into the paranoia that schizophrenic people already have to deal with. I feel like that will just make their condition worse.. (please correct me on anything i might have got wrong, i want to learn more)

since ur schizophrenic you prob know but the deaf culture in me wants to tell people- fully deaf people with schizophrenia typically see hands and it mimics auditory hallucinations in that way.
