Old timers here in the south use to plant peas in the middle between rows of cotton and corn. Peas also make their own nitrogen which helped with the other crops.

Weekly Devotional 🙏 God Builds Great Things Through Small Beginnings 📖 “Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin.” — Zechariah 4:10 We often overlook progress because it doesn’t look impressive yet. One disciplined trade. One day without revenge trading. One week of following your risk plan. One small payout. One account protected instead of blown. It may not feel like much, but small progress is still progress. God often begins with something small—not because He has small plans for you, but because He is building the character required to carry something greater. You may be asking for bigger profits, more accounts, or greater opportunities while God is teaching you how to remain faithful with one trade, one session, and one decision at a time. Do not become so focused on where you want to be that you ignore how far God has already brought you. The trader you are becoming is built through decisions that nobody celebrates. Closing the charts after reaching your limit. Accepting a loss without chasing it. Following your plan when nobody is watching. Choosing discipline even when breaking your rules might temporarily reward you. Big results are often the accumulation of small acts of faithfulness. Do not despise the beginning. Honor it. Because the habits you build in the small season will determine whether you can sustain the bigger one. 💼 Trading Takeaway: • Consistency is built one disciplined decision at a time • Protecting a small account develops the habits needed to manage larger capital • Small improvements compound when you remain faithful long enough 🎯 Action: Identify one small trading habit you have improved recently. Continue practicing it this week instead of overlooking it because the results are not dramatic yet. ❓ Reflection: Am I grateful for the progress God has already helped me make, or am I only focused on what I still lack? 🙏 Prayer: God, help me appreciate every stage of the process. Teach me not to overlook small progress or become discouraged when growth feels slow. Give me the discipline to remain faithful in the decisions nobody sees and the patience to trust what You are building through them. Prepare my character before increasing my responsibility. Amen. #daytrader #Godfirst #devotional #faithbased #tradingdiscipline
