these things happen just because of how the app was programmed but on uber u will not be punished for not accepting a ride but on the other apps u will b punished even if the pickup is long they expect u to go pick up the rider so u the driver will be forced to accept and cancel by arriving even though you didn't arrive at the pickup these are the reasons why u will never experience ur concern on uber. Uber will punish u if u accept a ride and cancelled. remember we the drivers drive on almost all the app so it is not the drivers but the app.

why r u confirming, u know is 10 minutes away ,ask urself if u r the driver will drive 10 minutes to go and a rider for short trip , u people don't know the instructions on the app ,,,if u doing a request and is 10 minutes away don't confirm ,because bolt driver will come ,and Uber driver can decline but bolt is not like that,,,the driver will accept it and make it arrive,,,,,

you're are stress 😂 come and do bolt and see the real stress that up put drivers through 😁😁. still you guys respect the drivers and see that as profession nothing will change. a driver driver 10-15 minutes to location to pick you ' upon arriving and calling you to wait and you waited for another 20 minutes before you realised passenger cancelled the ride. you'll call and call them they wont mind. even yesterday around 12am somebody did same thing to me.
