@rabbi.noah18: Converts, do you need to be Zionists? Do you need to love the Land of Israel? The Torah answers this simply and beautifully. Hashem says I have given you this land. Eretz Yisrael is not a political position. It is a verse. It is emunah. It is part of the Torah you are embracing with your whole heart. A convert who loves Hashem and clings to His Torah knows this land is a gift. Not an abstract memory we cry over once a year. A real place. Yerushalayim. The Temple Mount. The Kodesh HaKedoshim. And we are getting closer. So many converts have been moved by the miracles of this moment in Jewish history. They feel it. They want to be part of the story. Because it is their story too. Yes you can have questions. Yes you can push for it to be better. That is what it means to love something deeply. But the land is part of the package. And what a beautiful package it is.
