i honestly am just never a fan of hoyo's "opposite" architypes. like the highly respected elderly is actually a cute tsundere teenager. or the wise and knowledgable god is actually a little girl. its so... corny and just ruins the overall character. i know it can be boring to follow the basic architype. but these ones are sooo weird. she'd be my fav if she was anything but a highly respected shaman

The only thing I don’t like is how childish she acts, especially in the 6.7 event. I hate how Hoyo just makes her completely childish and she would’ve been the best written character only if she didn’t act so possessive and childish

One day the fandom will get over this “design doesn’t tell me their job” thought process. It’s getting old. It’s a recreational design and not a functional design. As is the case with many of the Natlan characters and even many older ones too.

I wish they didn’t write her to be so cringey. Honestly, based on her past I don’t even mind her being jealous and possessive of the traveler, this is the first person she’s met that is also powerful and ages slowly, she would want to cling to that. But come on.. why is she so OBSESSED? To the point of embarrassment? She’s one of my favorite characters and this most recent quest made me hate her for a bit 😭

her design is based of typical clothes old women wear in rural areas in mexico mix with classic Aztec symbols, these two combined tells you shes old and wise but also a strong warrior

I feel ppl don't understand citlali and just put tsundere on her She isn't a grandma ppl call her that bc shes like 500 years old She avoid being in love bc she knows she will outlive the men she will love shes still a young adult or adult base on long age ppl Thr traveler gave her hope to love bc he is also 500 years old and she doesn't have to worry about him dying while she grow up The traveler is same age but never called grandpa so it really ppl hating on her bc she love the traveler like cant a grown women like cute stuff and act jealous
