help the working who more especially if you have a mortgage . The government thinks you have equity and can it out like savings ! Rent gets more benefits and help .it's not fair . increase the personal allowance. so the tax payers have more disposable income as we have to pay for everything! gggr

Increase income tax thresholds, absolutely daft to be taxed then receive it back in Universal Credit. Public inquiry into CMS. Better paternity leave and pay supports families across the board.

One fix for Student Finance is let us use LISAs to go towards Student Loans. If every £1000 the government helped with £250 I'd try pay down my Student Loan fast

Any private landlord charging more of the LHA rate should be taxed more on that additional income. If rents were = to the LHA rates, renters would have a higher disposable income & spend more in the local economy. Higher taxes for landlords means more tax income for the govt. Less profit for the property Investor could mean that they would sell up & increase the property on the market & investors less likely to buy up property for their portfolio. Could lead to lower house prices in the long term. Of course, it wouldn't work in isolation.
