Bad design if you need vacuum fill. Good design, then just fill expansion tank and radiator. Change glykol every 5 yrs if you have long life glykol. Every 2 yrs if you have normal glykol. Happy motoring.

you don’t have to vaccum fill if you burp it properly, i only vac fill if there’s an egr cooler

if you drain the cooling system on a renault van you have to vac fill or the eletric coolant pumps don't get any coolant

for me there was a defect in the lid of the coolant container on my vw polo gti so when driving hard it would avaporate through the leak in the lid
