@janustiu: My vibe-coded prototype got spammed, and it taught me a lesson. More than a year ago, I started vibe coding, and these are the four lessons that cost me real tokens, real time, and plenty of sweat: 1. I gave an AI agent too much scope in one go. Now I break work into small, testable tasks. 2. I skipped version control. Now I make small commits and push them to a remote repository so I can inspect or roll back changes. 3. I forgot to protect the public forms on my site, even if it’s just a prototype. Now I validate requests server-side, restrict access appropriately, add rate limits and anti-abuse protection, and run basic security checks to reduce the risk of hacks or spam. 4. I relied on AI without understanding the code it produced. Now I make sure I can trace what changed, or I ask an experienced engineer to review it before I share it. This video is a one-minute overview. If you want a deeper breakdown of prompting, version control, public form security, or how to review AI-generated code, let me know which topic you’d like to see in the comments.
