Got a lot of hate but it’s honestly spectacular. It’s a hard like for many people for multiple reasons. Some people have trouble finding the meaning in it, some people genuinely just don’t want to watch a movie that is a theoretically realistic scenario of a post pandemic/apocalyptic/nuclear/anything world… because it’s genuinely disturbing for many people to think about. But if you can look past it and have an open mind and realize how realistic it is, it is spectacular. A normal man who is struggling with grief, loss, and finding a will to survive in a world that wants him dead. No cure, no villain, no “save the world”, just finding some kind of purpose. Go into it with an open mind, and it’s quite good.
