How a Bad Peel Caused Facial Pain & The Unexpected Fix I saw one lady. She'd had a peel. It was inappropriate for her skin. Whoever did it did not assess her properly. They left it on too long and it actually burned her hair. The result was that she was getting facial pain, horrendous pain, and she'd been put on all sorts of treatment. The area flattened. And the reason it flattened was because it damaged the nerve. The muscle wasn't moving as much, so the muscle atrophied. And she continued to have pain. She came to see me to treat the pigmentation. And then she needed, she wanted symmetry because you could see a clear difference between this side of her face and this side of her face. While I was treating her, I was trying to make it, because she was, she didn't want people asking her questions about it, asking her what's wrong with her. She asked me to make it look less obvious, so increase the symmetry. And for that, the option really to do that was filler, which I was using. But while I was doing it, I realized tissue stuck down, so I subsized it while I was doing it. She comes back a few months later for something else. Facial pains have stopped. Face feels a lot better. Symmetry, I'd actually improved anyway, but it hasn't got worse. It wasn't dipping anymore. Things had improved. I realised I must have released whatever was stuck down or sort of contracted in there that was causing her pain. Let's talk about this.
