4K is only horizontal. you can flip horizontal then flip the whole camera 90degrees then you can film vertical in 4k (as a hack)

I just checked and mine only says 3K as well. I typically only film in 1080 so I never noticed it before. But I’m going to follow to see what everybody says.

It’s only records in 4 k horizontally, but there is a little hack - flip it to horizontal mode and turn the camera - so you ll record vertically in 4 k☺️

So the 4K is only for horizontal, and then the 3K is vert. Which is perfect because Tiktok doesn’t support 4K but YouTube supports 4K.

It only films 4K when you flip the screen horizontally. 😏 it is learning curve for sure. I still find myself using my phone a lot. 🫢
