They are coming from the drains. They are cluster flies. Boil water and pour it down your drains. Than for the plants you can buy stick pads that catch the flies as they come up

Add mosquito nets to your windows and balcony door if you havev one. Plus having a proper lid on the organic / misc waste bin. If you have meat packages rinse before adding it to recycling. And bring out the trash every 2-3 days in summer. Those are the ones that helped us to be basically fly and fruit fly free. (We also have a net over the fruit just like you for fruit flys)

Um, that can be a sign of demonic activity. Alto Santo, Sage, then put a ring of salt around the entire exterior of the house. Flies are normal, but if it keeps coming back…I’d be concerned it’s something else. There’s either dead animals in your walls constantly, or..it’s demonic attachment/oppression. It’s very real, I’ve had many paranormal experiences. I have zero reason to lie.

check/wash your bins outside and move them away if they're near the kitchen. Sometimes the flies come inside and lay eggs on scraps of food or fruit etc.

I think it’s the plants, we put a new plant in our bathroom and when we got back from holiday there was so many little flies around the window and the plant, so I would suggest you try putting them somewhere else and see if thee flies stop 🌿❤️

Your drains!!!! They lay eggs in the “gunk” that lines your drain - I do the hot water after baking soda and vinegar …. Also a little bleach so often in the summer! Especially if see a fruit fly

Get fly screens for windows and doors! Aussie here ….. we have fly screens on all windows and external doors so we can open them to allow air flow but no bugs come in

Sprinkle cinnamon in the soil of your plants + dump boiling water down the drains every couple of days for a few days until all the flies and eggs are dead

TRUST ME !! When I say this , fresh lemons, with cloves stuck in them , by all windows ! Flies turn around in my house. Trust me it really does work!!! Xxx

Cut a fresh lemon in half and put full cloves in each segment and leave them on the window seal it discourages them away with the scent it lets off and works a treat for us! Good luck ♥️
