I feel the “birthday date” mixup in my soul. You see, I for ages thought my best friend since 8th grade (class of 89 for age context) had her birthday October 13. It was sept 13. So every September would come and go & then I would call in October. One year I even called her on her actual birthday to chat & never once said happy birthday but called her like clockwork in October. Her husband then DM’d me the most unkind things about always missing her birthday. Needless to say I’ve never forgotten it since but I’ve not spoken to her husband either.
