@yahayapelpuohisham: TWO YOUNG GHANAIAN NATIONALS STRANDED IN JORDAN "Our passports have been seized, and when we tried to get help from the Ghanaian Embassy, we discovered that Ghana does not have an Embassy in Jordan. We are begging the Ghanaian authorities to come to our aid". These are the words of these two young Ghanaian nationals, aged 21 and 23, who travelled to Jordan in June to seek for greener pastures. According to them, they wish to come back home due to the inhumane treatment they are subjected to, but they claim they have been asked to pay an amount of 1,920 dollars, before they are allowed to travel back to their country. They are allegedly fed with bread and drink as meal for the whole day. The complaints continue to come in thick and fast. Yet, most of the youth are in a queue praying they get to these countries.
