also women most of the time vote for the most anti-war candidates. they're really acting like women are just rubbing their hands happily sending men to war lol

Competitive Waterboarding :
Men arguing about "the draft" is always a cop out when they themselves have often never served and certainly never been drafted (as pointed out).
They want rewarding for a hypothetical where they're expected to do something while ignoring the vast real world expectation of labour from women that men generally do not or have not been expected to partake in (for example reproductive labour - a man is not going to be pregnant) or general domestic labour which (imo at least) is generally forced onto women

Even if only men would get drafted, what does he think happens to women? They stay and work for society twice as hard, because half of people in the country left and someone has to mantain everything. They do not just sit there, lay passive and wait for men. Women also are citizens, and they get affected by politics just as men, if not more. Women are also contributing to the economy and society in general. So why they shouldnt vote? Is it because they should stay home, make babies and raise future generations? But in that case, wouldnt that also make nonsense for women to be not able to vote?

I don't know how serving in the military correlates at all with being able to vote 😭😭😭 it's not even a well hidden mysogynistic take they're just blatantly putting it out there because they're too lazy to think up something that could make sense in the slightest

The logical extension of his argument is also that you shouldn’t be able to vote unless all laws the government has control over directly affect you, by which nobody would be able to vote. Why should the poor cast a vote to determine the rate of tax bands only applicable to the rich? Why should the rich cast a vote to determine economic support only available to the poor? It’s ridiculous (but not surprising) that they only apply this logic to laws that primarily affect men.

Then why should they have a vote in pregnancy and childbirth? Something they can never and will never experience or execute?

any argument disqualifying people from voting based on how much they "contribute" can always be taken to the extreme to disqualify a whole bunch of (disabled, female, queer, poor) people, which goes entirely against the original idea of democracy itself. then again, I don't suppose these people ever believed in democracy in the first place.

For that matter, the poor enlist in the military many times more than the rich, who rarely serve. Should the poor vote while the rich, as a class, cannot? This argument is laughable. 🤣

You're not actually addressing his argument. His point is that only men remain legally liable for compulsory military service in the U.S. Nothing you said changes that

so nothing actually was a counter to his argument, all you demonstrated was that entitlements come with rewards and yeah for consistency his point would apply to israel.
