Odd, I have noticed a sudden surge of positivity around Dua’s brand which does wasn’t the case when she released her last album. How did it switch up so fast without her doing anything different? My theory is that she occupies a really unique lane where she’s one of the few pop girls are aspirational rather than relatable

I think RO’s main problem was she told us all it was a “Brit Pop inspired” pop record and then it just… wasn’t. It also just got lost amongst all the noise of the other girls album releases and then had to live up to Future Nostalgia which was an absolute behemoth of a pop album. She can 100% make a come back though
