Why do people take them back? I would never let that type of person into my life again. Not a best friend. Not a partner. Also, how arrogant to put a partner through taking you back in the first place. Leave and give them their peace. Selfish all of the way around.

This is so true. My ex and I divorced after several episodes of unfaithfulness, he was a great compartmentalizer, to this days he tells ppl infidelity had nothing to do with the divorce yet it had everything to do with it .

My husband has been home 3 months and says I need to just forget it and let it go. He said if I bring it up again he is leaving. He refuses to talk about it. We have been together 20 years. I’m lost and a mess, I love him but trust is gone. He planned on marrying one of the girls, but claims he thought of me and loved only me. Says he realized what he had with me and wants us back. But I can’t just forget. He came home 4/29 after being unfaithful for months, my daughter’s boyfriend told me. I had no clue. I got sent videos of them having sex in our bar and our camper. The text messages I was sent between him and multiple women. It’s burnt in my memory. I’m struggling.
