When you look at the ruins of the reservoir specifically you can really get the vibe that the place used to be SOMETHING, beautiful even before everything happened… electronic dams, what looks to be worker homes near the reservoir, a whole fleet of fishing boats complete with a transport system in the middle of the lake, and for all that to be destroyed in the span of a single day and poisoned long before that is lowkey heartbreaking
