He also fought to have it in Virginia because they did not have strong anti-SLAPP laws in place (because it would have taken place in California instead, where they had both lived at the time of his abuse to her, which has pretty good laws comparatively. Virginias government spent months working on strengthening them afterward so a trial like theirs would not happen again.

and you’d think the age gap alone would give you enough information that their situation was alarming. in no way was amber completely innocent but the problem is with media and women is they want a perfect victim. same goes for blake lively. she is a mean girl, but it is possible for mean girls to be assaulted as well.
